2NE1’s youngest member, GongMinJi revealed that once graduating middle school, she gave up on her studies for entering high school.
The reason for quitting school?
All for the sake of the path she has to take. This is no different to other music legends such as SeoTaeJi and JangWooSung.
During an interview with My Daily, she shared “to be honest, I agonised a lot over this issue for a long time. But I thought about the lack of support from the school related to a celebrity lifestyle, and that ultimately determined my decision to discontinue my studies. I want to do this (singing) more”
The 15 year old, who has a 10 year age gap between other members ParkBom and Sandara Park, also said that she lacked feelings and sentiments while recording their latest hit “I Don’t Care” as the song is based on break ups with bad boys. She explained in an interview “I think it’s because I’m a still minor”

| It's a lazy sunday afternoon again and that's a perfect time to have an 'obscure' list to kill time...speaking of killing: Slept enough today? Already eaten? Good! Then you can probably look at this...
Top 26 Slasher Movies
You would think the movie-going public had something against horny teenage girls.
Why else would slasher movies – which basically revel in killing them off – be so popular? We just can’t get enough of them. Mind you, it’s not only the cheerleader types that usually end up in body bags. There’s the jocks, of course. Then the nerds. Leaving the weird loner types to usually save the day. We are sure this has some kind of social significance and insight into Western culture, but we are a snarky entertainment site, for God’s sake. We are not here to educate. No, what we are here to do is make completely random lists. And we cannot think of a better one than the top 26 slasher movies. But what exactly is a slasher movie? Well, according to Wikipedia, that well-known source of all things accurate, a slasher movie is: ‘a sub-genre of horror, typically involving a psychopathic killer (usually wearing a mask) who stalks and graphically murders a series of mostly adolescent victims in a typically random, unprovoked fashion, killing many within a single night.’
And that is just about good enough for us. So, enjoy!
( Lazy Sunday Afternoon Fun ) Be a good sport, Jason! You're always such a kill-joy!

John Barrowman seems to have all the luck at the moment.
The popular actor, who portrays Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood, managed to survive a terrifying high-speed crash after losing control of his car. 42-year-old Barrowman, whose character on the show cannot die, was filming a slot for Fifth Gear when the accident happened.
He was taking part in a race in Powys, Wales, with Fifth Gear presenter Tiff Needell, who was in the passenger seat when the crash happened. The £120,000 Subaru slid down a verge, flipped four times and almost went into a lake at the bottom of the hill, according to the News of the World. Paramedics pulled Barrowman and Needell out, and removed shattered glass from Barrowman's eye before he was taken to hospital.
Barrowman said: 'I'm lucky to walk away unscathed. I got a ticking off from my mum afterwards.' Thankfully for his matinee idol looks, the Torchwood star was only left with cuts and bruises and nothing permanent. The crash will be screened on tomorrow's Fifth Gear, which is shown on Channel 5.

"The Passion of the Christ" star James Caviezel suffered minor injuries while riding his motorcycle in Washington state when he struck a bicycle thrown by a pedestrian, authorities said on Friday. Caviezel was driving his 2006 Harley-Davidson Thursday along a highway, when a man walking along the road threw a bicycle into the actor's path, said Richard Magnussen, a spokesman for the Washington State Patrol. "There's no relationship between these guys at all, (Caviezel) just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time," Magnussen told Reuters. Caviezel was unable to avoid the bicycle and when he struck it, he tumbled and suffered a cut to his hand and a bruise on his leg, authorities said. The bicycle got jammed between the front wheel and the engine of Caviezel's motorcycle. The actor, who was born in Washington State but lives in Los Angeles, was taken to a hospital and released. Before throwing the bicycle, the pedestrian was acting erratic, gesturing and pointing at the sky, Magnussen said. The man, David Nelson, 42, is expected to be charged with reckless endangerment, Magnussen said. Caviezel played Jesus in Mel Gibson's 2004 movie sensation "The Passion of the Christ." He currently stars in "The Stoning of Soraya M.," a movie about public stonings in Iran that was released in the United States last month. Source

Kristen Bell may not possess the proficiency for computers that her TV-alter ego Veronica Mars did, but that’s not about to stop her from making her presence felt since discovering this new-fangled craze called twitter late last week. Replying to fan questions (Yes, she’ll be at San Diego’s Comic Con on July 24th), offering up 140 character movie reviews (On My Sister’s Keeper, “that movie rocked me emotionally. i felt like i had been pepper sprayed by the end my eyes were so swollen from tears.”) and did we mention, enlisting you, the fans in her mini MARS movie revolution?
No really.
( More under cut... )

Actor Jon Huertas (ABC's 'Castle,' HBO's 'Generation Kill'), a former airman with Air Force special ops, is a big supporter of the Wounded Warrior Fund. The fund is a charitable organization that helps U.S. service personnel that have returned from war with missing limbs. The fund helps them get prosthetics that the government does not provide.

Jon Huertas played Sgt. Tony "Poke" Espera in Generation Kill and I thought he did a brilliant job. Just wanted to see what he was up to and came across this interview. Also, I had no idea he'd been in the Air Force. Anyway, he seems like a really nice guy and I'm glad his TV show is doing well. I hope he gets invited to the Emmys to help represent GK. Oh, and let the Generation Kill gif party begin... NOW!
Iceman approves of this post...
