| GIRLS ALOUD star Nicola Roberts is following in the footsteps of bandmate Cheryl Cole by landing her own TV show.
But unlike Chezza's light entertainment fodder, Nic's new programme will be ultra-serious.
She is shedding light on the dangerous world of "tanorexics" - women who are addicted to tanning products.
The term - coined from anorexia - applies to sufferers who constantly think they look too pale.
Nic, who battled the condition it in the past, will lift the lid on the issue in a BBC3 film.
The star, 24, has previously admitted: "I tried to cover up my insecurities by turning into a big-time tanorexic.
"I had every product from every range. It filled a shelf in my bathroom and no matter how exhausted I was, I needed my fix."

It has long been seen as the ideal - a sun-blushed complexion signifies beauty and good health, leaving the pale-skinned English rose struggling to achieve the bronzed look.
But now the classic Saint-Tropez tan is being shunned in favour of a more sinister trend.
A deathly pale complexion - achieved with the help of powders or foundation - is the new ideal (FUCK YEAH!), as women take inspiration from the vampire film New Moon.

NEW YORK - Natalie Portman says she is not a morning person, which will likely come as devastating news to the bleary millions gagging back coffee in the November-dark kitchens of the nation.
At 9 a.m., the reflective young actress sitting across the table in a Four Seasons suite is as calmly radiant as she appears onscreen. Dressed in demure fashion for a day of press, she's a genetic lottery winner, but her demeanour is less amour-propre starlet than young woman roused too early to face - well, the bleary dozens of the film media.
Indeed, Portman is the eye in the hurricane of Brothers, a love-triangle family drama set against - and ignited by - the war in Afghanistan. Director Jim Sheridan's recasting of the 2004 Danish film Brodre for a U.S. context, it bristles with American trauma. Anger and guilt sizzle in every direction - brother-brother, soldier-soldier, father-son and, of course, wife-husband. As Grace Cahill, Portman begins falling for Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal), the younger brother of her Marine husband, Sam (Tobey Maguire), who goes missing in Afghanistan but returns from the dead.
Inescapably, Afghanistan is the homewrecker here, but Portman resists casting Brothers as an anti-war - or even war - film.

Disney has a lot riding on its first animated Black princess. It's long overdue. So naturally Princess and the Frog received backlash from the start-from the princess' chambermaid occupation to the fairer-skinned prince to the Madea-esque Cajun firefly companion. Ultimately, though, these are minor details in a film that mostly gets it right.
First 5 minutes for those who haven't seen it. Nothing will beat the string of 90s films (Beauty and the Beast through Mulan) but this still looks cute

Rachel Uchitel denied having an affair with Woods when contacted by the AP.
“I resent my reputation is getting completely blasted in the media,” she said during a telephone interview late Friday. “Everyone is assuming I came out and said this. This is not a story I have anything to do with.”
Uchitel told the New York post, "God forbid Tiger got into a car wreck because of this false report of him having an affair. We have never had an affair, talked on the phone or sent any type of text, sexy or not. | Tiger's SUV in a Tree -- The Photos
Tiger Woods doesn't like hitting his golf shots into the trees -- so hitting one with his SUV really sucks.
WFTV in Orlando obtained photos of Tiger's Escalade after it smacked into a tree early Friday morning. Tiger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and released shortly thereafter.
Sources tell TMZ Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, were arguing right before the accident over allegations Woods had an affair.

On a night filled with repeats and old movies, ABC ran an all original lineup and still could manage no better than a tie for third place with adults 18-49. 20/20 was the night’s top program in viewers (6.2 million) and adults 18-49 (1.6/5).
FOX actually won the night with adults 18-49 with the movie Ice Age Two: Meltdown, which won the 9pm hour outright. While it was a new episode of Ugly Betty last night, it still came in fourth place at 9pm. Sure, it did about as well as Supernanny, but it did worse than a repeat of The Jay Leno Show.
Even with a lineup of all repeats CBS had the most viewers for the night, and came in second with adults 18-49.

The organisers of the Royal Variety Performance are still waiting to hear exactly what Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, who is better known as the pop star Lady GaGa, has in mind to entertain the Queen. Gerard Butler believes his commitment issues with women are caused by the fact his father didn't raise him.
The 'Gamer' actor was raised solely by his mother after his parents divorced when he was just two and he believes his commitment issues stem from the fact his dad wasn't around.
Butler - who didn't have contact with his father again until he was 16 - told German magazine Joy: "I act very awkward when I am with women. Perhaps that's because my mother brought me up alone. My father gambled away all our money and eventually went bankrupt. So one night our family had to flee head over heels to Canada. At that time my mother was five months pregnant with me. Shortly after my second birthday my father let us down. It is said that men who grow up without a father have a fear of commitment."
Despite his own disrupted childhood, the 40-year-old actor would love to have a family of his own but admits he needs to find the right woman first.
He added: "It's about time. But a woman by my side would be very helpful in this project."
Butler has most recently been romantically linked to his 'The Bounty Hunter' co-star Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, but he insists most of the rumours are not true.
He said: "It's totally bizarre. Since I am considered in Hollywood to be a true womaniser people impute affairs to me all the time. Last year I was linked to ten different women! Only one of them was true."

Lindsay Lohan doesn't like to be snapped in the act when she's partying.
Our spies saw her security crew snatch the mobile phone of Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta, who was spinning records and left the deejay booth to take pictures of Lohan, who was hanging out with brother Michael Jr. at Hudson Terrace the other night.
A source said, "The security team didn't care that he was the deejay. They went up to Gabe, took his camera and erased all of his pictures to make sure there were none of her drinking or looking like she was having too much fun."
Lohan left about 3 a.m.
